# How to pay your bill

Pay your Lightning IP bill by direct debit, BPAY or a one-off card payment, and see what to do if a payment doesn't go through.

There are three ways to pay your Lightning IP invoice.

## Direct debit

The simplest option. Your invoice is paid automatically on its due date from a nominated card or bank account. Set it up once in My Account and nothing more is required.

## BPAY

Use the biller code and reference number printed on your invoice. Allow two business days for the payment to reach us.

## One-off card payment

Pay any open invoice by card in My Account. Useful if you have paused direct debit or need to pay early.

If a direct debit fails, the invoice stays open and a reminder is sent. Pay it manually to avoid a late fee while you sort out the payment method.
