## Mobile internet without the phone plan

A data-only SIM puts mobile internet in a tablet, a portable modem or a 4G/5G router — no calls or texts, just data. Choose a plan from 15GB to 180GB, and change plans as your needs change. Any data you don't use is banked and carried over to the next month.

It's a simple way to get a work tablet online, connect a site office or caravan, or keep a portable device connected on the road.

## Choose your data plan

Pick the data allowance that suits your device. No lock-in contract, and unused data is banked for later.

## Because reliable connectivity matters more when you live and work regionally

### Built for regional Australia

Our network isn't designed as an afterthought to metro infrastructure. We plan, invest, and optimise specifically for regional towns, business precincts, and essential services accounting for distance, demand, and real-world conditions so your connection performs when it matters most.

### Local people, real support

When you call, you speak to a team based in your region not an offshore script. Our support staff understand local infrastructure, common setup challenges, and the urgency behind keeping homes and businesses online. We stay accountable from first call to full resolution.

### Independent and accountable

As an independent provider, we make decisions locally and stand behind what we deliver. No lock-in contracts, no confusing fine print just transparent plans, honest advice, and long-term partnerships built on performance, not obligation.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is a data-only SIM?

A data-only SIM gives a device mobile internet without calls or texts. It suits tablets, 4G and 5G modems, and other portable devices, with plans from 15GB to 180GB of data a month.

### What device do I need?

Any unlocked device that takes a SIM and supports mobile data - a tablet, a portable modem, or a fixed 4G or 5G router. Browse our 4G and 5G devices if you need one.

### Is 5G included?

Yes. All our data plans include 5G network access. Plans up to 100GB have download speeds of up to 150Mbps, and plans of 120GB and above go up to 250Mbps. 5G access depends on coverage and your device.

### Can I use mobile broadband as a backup for my business internet?

Mobile plans can't be used as a backup internet connection. For that we have a dedicated [4G Backup Service](/solutions/outcomes/backup-and-failover) that keeps your site online while your fixed internet service is down.

### What is the minimum term?

There is no minimum term. All of our plans are month-to-month, so you are never locked in. You can upgrade, downgrade, suspend, or cancel your service at any time without penalty fees.

### Does unused data roll over?

Yes. Any data you don't use by the end of your billing period is banked and carried over to the next one. Each month your new allowance is used first, then your banked data, before any automatic top-ups. See [does unused data roll over to next month?](/help/mobile/does-unused-data-roll-over) for how it works.

### Can I use mobile broadband overseas?

Mobile broadband services are set up for use in Australia. Roaming works through travel packs that are activated by SMS, and most tablets, modems and routers can't receive SMS, so roaming isn't available on data-only plans by default. If you travel often, talk to our team about your options.
