Moving your internet service

How to take your Lightning IP internet service to a new address, what to tell us, how far ahead to book and what to expect on moving day.

Tell us as early as you can and we will line up the disconnection at your old address with the connection at the new one.

  1. Give us two weeks' notice More is better. Some technology types and some buildings need an appointment.
  2. Check what's available at the new address The technology type may differ, which can change the speed tiers available to you.
  3. Confirm your move date We schedule the new connection for that date and close the old service afterwards.
  4. Take your modem with you In most cases the same hardware works at the new address.

If the new address uses a different technology type, we will tell you before the move and confirm which plan suits it.
