Hosted voice

Business phone systems that work anywhere

Hosted Voice gives your business a cloud-based phone system that works across desk phones, laptops, and mobiles — without the complexity of maintaining a traditional PBX on site.

What is Hosted Voice

Your business phone system — without the hardware headache

Hosted Voice replaces the traditional on-site PBX with a cloud-based system that gives your team the flexibility to make and receive calls from wherever they work. It's a smarter way to manage business communications across one office, multiple locations, or remote teams. Instead of being tied to one piece of equipment in one location, your phone system becomes easier to manage, simpler to scale, and far more adaptable to how modern businesses work.

Best for businesses that need

  • Flexible calling across office and remote teams
  • Professional call handling and routing
  • A scalable phone system without on-site PBX hardware
  • One provider for internet and voice services

Why lightning IP

4.8 from local customers on Google.

How to review a business that smashes your expectations and leaves the best the competition can do in an archaic time? I waited 17 days for Telstra to deliver me a modem for my business and every time I called they had no progress. I decided I had enough, I call Lightning IP and within 30 minutes I had internet setup at my premises. Seriously ridiculous customer service. It's customer service you can get from small, privately owned business. If I could give them 50/5 I would.

Frequently asked questions

Business Hosted Voice works just like a normal phone system except you don't have a physical phone system at your office.

Your phone system is hosted in the cloud and managed by Lightning IP.

Yes. We can port most existing numbers across from your current provider, so you keep the number your customers already know. We'll handle the paperwork and coordinate the transfer for you.

Desk phones need power to operate, so a local outage will affect them unless they're on a UPS or PoE backup supply. Softphones and mobile apps keep working on any device with an internet connection, so your team can keep taking calls from a laptop or mobile even if the office loses power.

Yes. Hosted Voice is built for multi-site businesses - every location connects to the same cloud phone system, so extensions, call routing and reporting work the same way no matter how many offices or remote workers you have.

In most cases, yes - we support a wide range of compatible handsets. Let us know what you already have and we'll confirm compatibility, or recommend hardware through our Hardware-as-a-Service options if you'd rather we supply pre-configured devices.

Block not rendered

The block Consultation names the Nuxt component ServicesConsultationSection, which does not resolve to anything. The server log says whether that is because no component is registered under the name, or because the name is not in the configured allow list.

This notice is only visible on localhost and the dev site; on the live site the block is simply absent.
