Is my address serviceable for nbn?
What "serviceable" means and what to do if your address isn't serviceable yet.
"Serviceable" means nbn infrastructure has been built to your address and a connection can be ordered. Almost all established Australian homes and businesses are serviceable, but some new builds and properties without existing infrastructure aren't yet.
If your address isn't serviceable
- New developments - the estate's nbn infrastructure may not be complete or registered yet. Check again close to your handover date.
- No existing infrastructure - nbn Co may need to extend its network to your property, which can take longer and may involve extra cost.
If you can't find your address
New addresses are sometimes listed by lot number, or the street name may not be registered yet. If you can't find your address in our address checker, contact our team and we'll help locate it.
Our address checker shows straight away whether your address is serviceable, and which plans are available.
